Head of Bali Regional Tax Office

DARMAWAN, S.T., M.A.

Born in Bandung on September 2, 1973, Darmawan earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Parahyangan Catholic University in 1996. Through a fully funded study assignment program, he completed his postgraduate education and obtained a Master of Arts in International Relations from Waseda University, Japan, in 2006.

He began his service as a Civil Service Candidate (CPNS) on March 1, 1999, and built his career at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) from operational levels up to Echelon IV. During this period, he honed his skills in tax administration management, organizational development, and fiscal policy—expertise that would serve as the foundation for his subsequent assignments.

His promotion to the administrator level (Echelon III) came with his appointment as Head of Division of Analysis and Harmonization of State Revenue and Budget Financing at the Center for Policy Analysis and Harmonization, Secretariat General of the Ministry of Finance, from 2016 to 2019. He later continued his service as Head of Division of Program Management of Minister and Vice Minister within the same unit until 2023.

His promotion to the senior executive level (Echelon II) also marked his return to the Directorate General of Taxes. On March 17, 2023, he was inaugurated as Head of North Sumatra II Regional Tax Office. Subsequently, on September 2, 2024, he was appointed Head of Bali Regional Tax Office.

In recognition of his dedication and integrity as a civil servant, he was awarded the Satyalancana Karya Satya X Year Medal (2017) and the Satyalancana Karya Satya XX Year Medal (2020) by the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Head of Nusa Tenggara Regional Tax Office

Ir. SAMON JAYA, M.Si.

Born in Lima Puluh Kota on July 28, 1967, Samon Jaya began his career as a Civil Service Candidate (CPNS) at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) in October 1993. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and pursued postgraduate studies, obtaining a Master of Science in Development Economics from Gadjah Mada University through a study leave program.

Throughout his career, Samon Jaya has held various key positions within the Directorate General of Taxes. He previously served as Head of Pare-pare Tax Office and later as Head of Subdirectorate of Human Resources Competency and Capacity Development at Directorate of Internal Compliance and Apparatus Transformation. He also served as Head of Division of Dissemination, Services, and Public Relations as well as Head of Division of General Affairs at Central Jakarta Regional Tax Office.

At the headquarters level, he was appointed Head of Subdirectorate of Potential at the Directorate of Potential, Compliance, and Revenue, and later served as Advisor to the Director General for Tax Extensification and Intensification Affairs. His career further advanced as he became Head of South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Tax Office, then Head of East and North Kalimantan Regional Tax Office. In 2021, he was entrusted as Head of Center for Taxation Data and Document Processing. Since June 2025, he has been serving as Head of Nusa Tenggara Regional Tax Office.

In recognition of his dedication and service, Samon Jaya has received several honors, including the Satyalancana Karya Satya XX Year Medal and Satyalancana Karya Satya XXX Year Medal, awarded by the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Head of Papua, West Papua, and Maluku Regional Tax Office

DUDI EFENDI KARNAWIDJAYA, S.T., M.M., M.S.A.

Born in Bandung on September 18, 1969, Dudi Efendi Karnawidjaya was appointed as a Civil Service Candidate (CPNS) in March 1995, marking the start of his career as a public servant within the Ministry of Finance.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and pursued postgraduate studies, earning a Master of Management from Padjadjaran University as well as a Master of Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, United States. These programs were completed under official study leave, reflecting his strong commitment to professional development.

Throughout his career, Dudi has held various strategic positions. He served as Head of the Subdirectorate of Tax Extensification at Directorate of Tax Extensification and Valuation, Head of Division of General Affairs, and Head of Bandung Tegallega Tax Office. He later served as Head of Division at West Java I and Bengkulu-Lampung Regional Tax Offices and was subsequently appointed Head of Subdirectorate of Tax Extensification and Valuation Development at Directorate of Business Process Transformation.

His career advanced further when he was assigned as Head of Karawang Medium Taxpayers Tax Office before being appointed as Head of Papua, West Papua, and Maluku Regional Tax Office in May 2024.

For his dedication, Dudi received the Satyalancana Karya Satya XX Year Medal from the President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2016. He also earned the Academic Excellence Award from the College of Commerce and Business Administration, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements at the international level.

With a strong academic background and extensive organizational experience, Dudi Efendi Karnawidjaya is recognized as a dedicated and visionary leader with a deep commitment to bureaucratic reform and public service excellence in the field of taxation.

Head of Center for Taxation Data and Document Processinq

EDWARD HAMONANGAN SIANIPAR, S.E., Ak., M.Si.

Born in Medan on June 20, 1969, Edward Hamonangan Sianipar began his career as a Civil Service Candidate (CPNS) at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) on March 1, 1990.

Over more than three decades of service, he has held numerous strategic positions, both at tax offices and at the DGT Head Office. Among these were Head of Division of Audit, Collection, Intelligence, and Investigation at North Jakarta Regional Tax Office and Head of Jakarta Pulogadung Tax Office. He also served as Advisor to the Director General for Tax Law Supervision and Enforcement at the DGT Head Office.

His career continued to advance as he was entrusted with the role of Head of Riau and Riau Islands Regional Tax Office, and later returned to serve as Advisor to the Director General at the DGT Head Office. Since June 13, 2025, he has been serving as Head of Center for Taxation Data and Document Processing.

In terms of education, Edward is a graduate of the Diploma III Program in Finance, specializing in Accounting, from the Indonesian State College of Accountancy (STAN), and earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Indonesia.

As a testament to his dedication, he has been awarded the Satyalancana Karya Satya Medals for X, XX, and XXX years of service by the President of the Republic of Indonesia.
