Visiting PT Mount Scopus Indonesia, Tax Educator KPP PMA Empat Conduct Socialization of NIK Updating to NPWP

The Tax Educator of Foreign Investment Tax Office Four (KPP PMA Empat) held a socialization about updating the National Identity Number to a Tax Identification Number independently through the employer, in collaboration with PT Mount Scopus Indonesia, which is a taxpayer from KPP PMA Empat. The functional team of Tax Educator Foreign Investment Tax Office Four visited the location of PT Mount Scopus Indonesia to give exposure to all employees of PT Mount Scopus Indonesia, Jakarta (Tuesday, 28/3).

Located in the meeting room of PT. Mount Scopus Indonesia, the activity was opened directly by Mr. Rony Zakaria, a Tax Educator and continued with material exposure about updating procedures from National Identity Numbers to Tax Identification Numbers independently and solutions to its common problems. Not only was it done in the meeting room, but the presentation was also carried out for employees in the branch office through the Zoom cloud application with 80 participants.

"Thank you, madam and mister, for the socialization; we were helped, good luck KPP PMA Empat," said Refand Hut, one of the branch office employees who took part in the socialization via Zoom. The purpose of this activity is to help taxpayers update their National Identity Number to their Tax Identification Number so that they can use their National Identity Number to access limited tax services from the Directorate General of Taxes. The use of a national identity number as a tax identification number certainly brings various benefits for taxpayers, such as the simplification of identity numbers so that they don’t have to carry a card or memorize a tax identification number.

Asti Farisca, a tax educator, said, "This socialization was expected to bring benefit and simplicity for taxpayers. In addition, this socialization was also expected to enable taxpayers to understand how to update independently and to be able to invite friends, relatives, or family to update before January 1, 2024."
