Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office in collaboration with West Jakarta Regional Tax Office held a seminar on Tax Facilities and Incentives for Foreign Investment in Indonesia with the Chinese Indonesian Association (INTI) at Mega Glodok Kemayoran (MGK), Jakarta (Tuesday, 26/9).

This seminar aims to provide information regarding facilities and incentives that can be utilized by investors, especially those from China. In his speech, Chandra Yap, Secretary General of the INTI Association, hoped that this seminar would become an important momentum, so that investors who came would not hesitate to invest in Indonesia.

"To achieve a golden Indonesia in 2045, investment is one of the leverages so that Indonesia can achieve this goal more quickly. To enlarge the leverage, collaboration with many countries and investors is needed," said Irawan, Head of Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office in his speech.

"Currently, the tax system in Indonesia is improving to resolve disputes that occur between taxpayers and the government. For transactions with other countries, the Directorate General of Taxes has an agreement to resolve existing disputes," added Irawan.

In his seminar material, Functional Tax Counselor of Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office, Dendi Amrin explained that investors can use several ways to invest in Indonesia, including by establishing a Foreign Investment company and BUT. Tax incentives and facilities that can be utilized include tax allowance, tax holiday, and super deduction. Investors can enjoy the facilities and incentives offered by the government as long as they fulfill the existing requirements.
