The Tax Educator Functional Team from Foreign Investment Tax Office One paid a visit while also giving tax counseling services to PT Global Hanstama Jaya in Kampung Bungaok, Legok, Banten (Tuesday, 10/1).
This visit was conducted to give information about the preliminary return of tax overpayments procedure and to follow-up on the tax payer’s application to be designated as a low-risk taxable entrepreneur.
During the visit, The Tax Educator Team consisting of Agus Saptomo, Andi Ilham Muliawan, and Puja Aldila had the opportunity to see and explore the production process and business activities of the Taxpayer, thereby gaining a deeper understanding to give a relevant consultation and appropriate services according to the Taxpayer’s business character.
"Understanding the production process and business activities of taxpayers as a whole will greatly assist tax officials in providing appropriate and careful services and consultations on applications submitted by taxpayers because each business activity has its own character," said Agus.
Bai Farhah also guided the team to go around the workshop and explain the production process of companies that produce styrofoam as a coating material for refrigerators, air conditioners, magic coms, and blenders. Furthermore, discussions were held regarding the business prospects of taxpayers and the obstacles they face in fulfilling their tax obligations.
Agus emphasized again the importance of the role and support of taxpayers in maintaining the integrity of Foreign Investment Tax Office employees by not giving or promising anything related to the services provided. Moreover, Foreign Investment Tax Office One has received the title of Zone of Integrity-Clean Serving Bureaucracy (ZI-WBBM) in 2022.
