One day after the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day, the Directorate General of Taxes organized Pajak Bertutur 2022 simultaneously throughout Indonesia, unless Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office. Pajak Bertutur is a campaign carried out by the Directorate General of Taxes to increase awareness of academia towards tax awareness education programs. The implementation of Pajak Bertutur involves all levels of education, whether primary, secondary, or higher education. The purpose of organizing Pajak Bertutur 2022 is to provide awareness about taxes and the Tax Awareness Inclusion program in education to the public and increase public and stakeholder participation in learning tax awareness in academia.
In Pajak Bertutur 2022, Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office collaborated with Bina Nusantara University and Krida Wacana Christian University which was held online at the Synergy Hall, Second Floor of Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office, Jakarta (Thursday, 18/8). This year's Pajak Bertutur was followed online by 36 (thirty six) students in their respective domicile because it coincided with the midterm break. This event was welcomed by students and university representatives, because it brings positive things in midterm break. Pajak Bertutur can also motivate the younger generation to produce creative and innovative works and contribute actively in developing Indonesia in the future.
Pajak Bertutur 2022 was packaged in an attractive manner by presenting material that is easy to understand and wrapped in interesting games. The provision of Pajak Bertutur material was in accordance with the material from the Directorate General of Taxes Head Office which had been adjusted to the education level of each participant. Through the Pajak Bertutur 2022, it is hoped that the younger generation will be able to understand the importance of taxes and be able to carry out their rights and obligations as citizens when they have fallen in the community. In addition, this activity also aims to invite stakeholders in academia to play a role in disseminating tax information and build a positive image of the Directorate General of Taxes in the eyes of the younger generation of Indonesia.
