Taxpayers only need a maximum of three months to get a refund transfer review request that should not be payable.

Tax Counselor of the Permanent Establishment and Expatriates Tax Office, Prasida Nurul Husna explained it in a podcast held at the Permanent Establishment and Expatriates Tax Office, Taman Makam Pahlawan Kalibata, Rawajati Village, Pancoran District, South Jakarta (Thursday, 27/3).

The podcast was titled Balance Transfer and Application of Refund Transfer Review Request that Should Not Be Payable.

"Minister of Finance Regulation Number 81 Year of 2024 on Tax Provisions in the Framework of the Implementation of the Core Tax Administration System or commonly referred to as the Omnibus PMK on Coretax explains the implementation of Coretax in various aspects of taxation. In this podcast, we will explain about PMK-81 adjustments to the balance transfer process and Application of Refund Transfer Review Request that Should Not Be Payable," explained Arief Budi Nugroho, Tax Counselor of the Permanent Establishment and Expatriates Tax Office

The briefing also explained the definition of balance transfer, types of payments that can be balance transfer request, types of payments that cannot be balance transfer request, and also transactions that can be balance transfer not by request but by legacy.

Prasida added that for tax deposits that cannot be balance transfer, a Refund Transfer Review Request that Should Not Be Payable can be made. Related to the a Refund Transfer Review Request that Should Not Be Payable, it will be processed no later than three months since the taxpayer submits the application through Coretax DGT. If the application is approved, it will be followed by the SKPLB disbursement process with a period of one month.

At the end of the podcast, Arief emphasized that all taxpayer requests are submitted through Coretax DGT. The Permanent Establishment and Expatriates Tax Office itself does not accept manual applications, either directly through the Integrated Service Center (TPT) or applications sent by shipping expedition.
