Ensuring Taxpayer Compliance, The Permanent Establishments and Expatriates Tax Office Visits Palu-3 Power Plant

The Permanent Establishments and Expatriates Tax Office conducted a visit to the Palu-3 Steam Power Plant (PLTU) project site on Jalan Tolitoli-Palu, Lero Tatari, Sindue District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi, on Thursday, 13/11. This visit aimed to introduce Tax Office’s role, regulate project administration, and supervise compliance of Doosan Enerbility Co., Ltd. as a registered taxpayer.

Palu-3 PLTU is one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) crucial for strengthening the electricity system in Central Sulawesi, focusing on the Palu and Donggala regions.

The existence of this 2x50 MW capacity project represents a permanent solution to the problems of electricity supply shortages and voltage instability that have been detrimental to the social and economic activities of the Palu community. Based on information from local residents, since the power plant has been fully operational, city activities, ranging from street lighting to business operations, can continue until nighttime.

During the visit, The Permanent Establishments and Expatriates Tax Office team, consisting of Agustiningsih, Gustoni Hendrawan Ahmada, Putu Yudhi Ristama, and Annisa Ziza Diansita, met with Daegug Kang, who serves as Technical Senior Manager of Doosan Enerbility, and Andrew, as a representative of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk.

The Palu-3 PLTU project was carried out by a consortium consisting of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. as the main contractor, Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction Co., Ltd. (now Doosan Enerbility) as the special work supervisor, particularly for the main cable and steel structure, and Korea South-East Power (KOEN) Co., Ltd. as the operator.

The project was handed over from the consortium to PT PLN (Persero) in April 2025. Currently, Doosan Enerbility is still on site during the reliability guarantee or maintenance period, which is expected to end in April 2026, marked by the issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC).
