Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office held the first tax class in 2023 with the subject “Government Regulation Number 50 of 2022 (PP 50/2022) concerning Procedures for Implementing Rights and Fulfilling Tax Obligations” online in Jakarta (Tuesday, 31/1).

Dendi Amrin and Hargo Nugroho as Tax Educators of the Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office, regarded this topic as very important to be informed about because there is a new regulation that must be known by taxpayers. Observing that PP 50/2022 was issued due to the need to adjust the regulation of the procedures for implementing rights and fulfilling tax obligations with the Harmonization of Tax Regulations Law (HPP Law), it is also based on the fact that the regulations in PP 74/2011 and PP 9/2021 are no longer in line with the administrative needs and regulations in the HPP Law. In addition, PP 50/2022 was issued to implement the regulations related to data provided in the integration of the population database with the tax database.

In connection with the integration of the population database with the tax database, #KawanPajak must have heard or maybe some of us have matched our National Identity Number "NIK" to the Taxpayer Identification Number "NPWP". Dendi Amrin asked the representatives of Corporate Taxpayers who joined this online tax class whether anyone had informed their employees. Most of the zoom participants stated that they had done it already. We really appreciate Corporate Taxpayers who have appealed or conducted socialization to their employees to match NIK to NPWP.

By conducting this tax class, we hope it can improve taxpayers' knowledge of tax provisions. Head of Section of Dissemination Guidance and Document Management Yongki Cahyaningrum, expressed her gratitude for the contribution of Taxpayers to Indonesia through the compliance of Annual Tax Return reporting and tax payments throughout 2022. Alhamdulillah, tax revenue in 2022 was achieved due to the contribution, assistance, and cooperation. And in 2023, let us together fulfill our tax obligations as well as possible by reporting our tax return on time and making the right amount of payment.
