Lead to Hat Trick 2023, Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office Organized 1st Regional Coordination Meeting

Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office organized the 1st Regional Coordination Meeting at Alila Solo, Laweyan, Surakarta City, Central Java (Wednesday, 8/2). The meeting was held for three days starting Wednesday, February 8 with the theme "Strengthen Will, Step Together, Continue to Engrave Achievements, Insha Allah Hat Trick in 2023!".

The event was attended by 154 participants including the Head of Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office, all Heads of Divisions, all Heads of Tax Offices, representatives of Section Heads, Account Representatives, Functional Tax Educators, Functional Tax Counselors, and Bailiffs within Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office. This event was held with due regard to Covid-19 health protocols in accordance with government instructions.

The choose of “Strengthen Will” in this theme has the meaning that what we face in the future is not easy. It is predicted that there will be many obstacles and challenges in 2023 that make this year no easier than last year.

“This coordination meeting is important and a must to synergize between functions in Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office and its Tax Offices. By this meeting, we hope that our will must be strengthened first,” said Irawan, the Head of Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office in his speech.

In line with this theme, this meeting aims to strengthen will and jointly step towards achieving the revenue target in 2023 as mandated in the State Budget.

"I appreciate the excellent growth and achievement of tax revenue in 2022, as well as the implementation of the values of the Ministry of Finance. I hope DGT can achieve a hat trick of tax revenue achievement above 100% this year." Said Inspector I of Inspectorate General of Ministry of Finance Belis Siswanto, who also attended the meeting.

Working wholeheartedly and giving the best is a way to show love and loyalty to the Republic of Indonesia. " Inspectorate General of Ministry of Finance always tries to support DGT. We hope DGT will complete the state's duties well, be trustworthy and successfully achieve the goals," concluded Belis.

Meanwhile, Assistant of Minister for Strategic Communication Yustinus Prastowo welcomed with great hope. "DGT is extraordinary, filled with extraordinary people, facing extraordinary challenges only for extraordinary people," said Prastowo. Collaboration between institutions is very important through communication that builds awareness.

“The temptations out there are getting bigger, we must always remind each other, for the sake of an advanced, fair and transparent Indonesia. No need to worry, the most important thing is to always stick to the rules," he added.

Showing the gratitude for the performance of the Tax Offices and employees, the Head of Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office gave awards to the Best Work Offices and Employees in 2022 in each category. The Best Performing General Champion was given to the Foreign Investment Tax Office One.

As a closing statement, the Head of Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office Irawan, hopes to have the same mindset, "The same mind, the same hope, and the enthusiasm will also be the fuel to move in the same direction to the expected point."

The series of the meeting agendas were closed by the signing of the Charter of Commitment to Strengthen Will to Engrave Achievements 2023 by all echelon III officials in Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office. Then continued with the ratification of the Charter by the Head of in Jakarta Special Regional Tax Office in front of all participants.
