The Six Foreign Investment Tax Office (KPP PMA Enam) visited PT Mulia Intan Lestari to socialize the National Identity Number (NIN)-Tax Identification Number (TIN) matching and the introduction of annual tax returns to dozens of hotel employees at Mulia Senayan Hotel (Thursday, 26/01).

Wahyu Dewaji, the tax educator said that since July 14th, 2022, NIN has been used as TIN for resident individual taxpayers and TIN with 16-digit format for non-resident individual taxpayers, corporate taxpayers, and government taxpayers and continuously as of January 1st, 2024 all tax administration services and other services that require TIN must use a new format.

"Therefore, DGT requires taxpayer assistance in validating the data independently. Due to the importance of this matching, an inevitable process is updating the data. It is done through the DGT administration system which has been integrated with the population administration system. Currently, DGT is also in preparation for the implementation of the tax administration core system (SIAP). This system is part of a national strategic project in accordance with Presidential Regulation Number 40 of 2018 concerning Renewal of the Tax Administration System," added Angga Indra Nugraha (tax educator) in delivering the material.

At the end of the session, Ratri Dwi Susilaningsih (tax educator) also reminded all employees of Mulia Senayan Hotel to immediately report the annual tax return for tax year 2022 , "now it's easier, just use DGT Online!" she closed.
