The Special Jakarta Regional Tax Office, in collaboration with the South Jakarta II Regional Tax Office and the Large Taxpayer Regional Tax Offices, held the Voluntary Disclosure Program/ Program Pengungkapan Sukarela (PPS) Tax Corner in one of South Jakarta's most luxurious shopping centers, Pacific Place Mall Floor I, from June 1st to June 19th, 2022 (Thursday, 2/6). The PPS Tax Corner opened at 10 a.m. It closed at 6 p.m. on weekdays and 8 p.m. on weekends. South Jakarta II Regional Tax Office established this Tax Corner to serve people who want to consult about PPS or other tax services without having to wait in long lines.
The Tax Corner at Pacific Place Mall demonstrates DGT's dedication to providing convenience and bringing tax services closer to the public. The Tax Corner is also being implemented with the goal of introducing the public to the PPS. People who want to obtain PPS or other tax information do not have to wait in a long line at the tax office. People can directly meet and interact with the tax advisor at The Tax Corner while walking around and shopping.
The Tax Corner has a lot of support in the community. On weekdays, the hustle occurred during lunch and in the afternoon after work. Meanwhile, on weekends, the number of visitors is higher than on weekdays. In general, the public visits the tax corner to learn more about PPS. However, the public consults and seeks other tax information, such as Annual Tax Return consultation.
