A total of 30 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from Jakpreneur Pancoran showcased local products at the Bazar Ramadan in Kalibata Tax Complex (Thursday, 20th/3).
Local business owners sold a number of products needed for Ramadan and Eid such as food, cakes, and prayer mats. Ani, the owner of Nasi Pecal Mertua, said that the Bazar Ramadan helped increase her sales. “Alhamdulillah, even though it is the fasting month, we can still make good sales,” said Ani.
The Bazar Ramadan was held by collaboration between the tax offices in Kalibata Tax Office Complex with the South Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Office. “We invited small businesses selling curated items with good quality products,” said Dian, a representative from the South Jakarta PPKUKM office.
For two days, visitors from taxpayers and employees lined around the tenants since 9 a.m. “There are many options for breakfast menus and it is easy to hop from one shop to another!” said Gita, one of the visitors.
Separately, the Head of Foreign Investment One Tax Office, Oding Rifaldi, admitted that the MSMEs bazaar was initiated to invite the public to buy local products. “We want to bring MSMEs products closer to the community. The closer the market access of MSMEs to buyers, the more recognized local products will be,” said Oding.
